As we head into this year's Dota 2 season we have decided to completely release our Dota 2 roster, as a part of this we are releasing Rasmus “Misery” Filipsen into free agency.
Misery joined Chaos EC in January to help us relaunch our Dota 2 division. After a challenging circuit Misery lead the team to qualification for The International. His extensive knowledge and high skills were vital in the teams success in all of its forms. The impact that Misery has had on the development of Chaos EC cannot be understated and we will always be grateful for all of his efforts. Everyone at Chaos EC wishes you nothing but the best in whatever endeavor you undertake next in your career. Thank you Misery!
Greg Laird, CEO, added, “Rasmus has personally contributed more to the growth and development of the Dota 2 program of Chaos since its inception (including the historic 2016 TI run) than any other player. Over the years I have become close personal friends with Rasmus and I am extremely sad to see him go but sincerely wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours.”
