Aliwi "w33" Omar transferred to Team Liquid

Chaos EC and Team Liquid have come to an agreement regarding the transfer of Aliwi "w33" Omar. He will join Liquid at the EPICENTER Major in Moscow. We’re grateful for everything Omar has done for our organization and are very happy he found such a stable and talented group to compete with. Anytime a player leaves Chaos for any reason we hope they find a situation that will continue the positive trajectory of their career and give them the best chance to succeed. In the case of this transfer, we believe this is true.

w33 is a rare player, overflowing with natural ability and an unquenchable work ethic. He helped establish our team when we were Digital Chaos, delivering a 2nd place finish at The International 2016, and 1st at ESL One Genting 2017. He will always have a special place in the Chaos family and we wish him nothing but the best. Thank you for everything, Omar.

From CEO of Chaos EC Greg Laird, regarding the transfer:
“Since I began casting Dota 2, Omar has been one of my favorite players. I was close with the team during their run at TI6, and later joined as head of the organization. Having Omar return to the roster was one of my happiest moments running Chaos, and I am equally sad to see him leave. Omar, I will always cheer for you and wish you the best of luck in your future with Team Liquid.”
